¡Ya llegó el otoño¡ / The fall is already here!

 De repente y casi sin darme cuenta, llegó el otoño. Ya había notado las hojas cambiando de color hace poco, pero no fue hasta que esta mañana  puse el canal del clima que me di cuenta que ya no hay vuelta atrás. La temperatura bajó a 50 grados y en el edificio encedieron el radiador en varias ocasiones para calentar los apartamentos. 

Así que hoy  comenzamos a abrigarnos un poco más para salir. Ya tengo que sacar la ropa más gruesa y los abrigos de las bolsas de almacenamiento. ¡Espero que todavía queden  dos o tres días calientitos!  A mi me encanta el calorcito y las hojas en los árboles...claro, estaba acostumbrada a vivir en el trópico donde se puede decir que no hay cambios de estación y hay sol todo el año. Este es mi segundo otoño fuera del Caribe, todavía estos cambios son nuevos para mí. 

Tengo que aprovechar e ir mucho al parque con los nenes antes que venga el invierno crudo. También tengo que sentarme a disfrutar  el cambio de colores y la caída de las hojas. Dios hizo todo bello y cada época tiene su belleza.

Suddenly and almost without realizing it, the fall got here. I had already noticed the leaves changing colors recently, but it was not until this morning, after I tuned the weather channel, that I realized there is no turning back. The temperature dropped to 50 degrees and the building turned on the heater on several occasions.  So today we began wearing warmer clothes.  I have to start taking out the winter clothing and coats from the storage bags. I hope there are still two or three more warm days during these weeks! I love warm weather and  leaves on the trees.  Of course,  I used to live in the tropics where, you can say, there are not seasonal changes and the sun shines all year-round.  This is my second fall outside the Caribbean, these changes are still new to me. 

I have to take the kids to the park more often before the harsh winter days come.  I also have to sit and enjoy the changing colors and the falling leaves. God made everything beautiful and every season has its beauty in itself.
